Mission:
HORSE is a daily 25 minute literacy period - Helping Our Reading Students Excel.

During this time we participate in research-based literacy strategies such as reading to improve comprehension, teacher read alouds to students from a school-wide book, and a variety of activities designed to promote reading.

Members: All Shoal River Students

Meetings/Practices: HORSE meets daily between 2nd and 3rd periods.
