Mission:
The Shoal River Media Center strives to develop life-long learners who are effective users of ideas and information by:

Encouraging a love of reading,

Providing access to learning resources in a variety of formats -books, online resources, magazines, reference materials, videos, etc.,

Maintaining and updating our collection of award winning books and Accelerated Reader quizzes,

Teaching skills needed to locate, evaluate and use those resources in an effective and meaningful way

Collaborating with other educators to create and implement learning strategies that support the curriculum.

Meetings/Practices:
The Media Center is open before school, during scheduled Language Arts class visits, and during the week with a teacher pass.
